Michal Kosakowski is a Polish-German filmmaker and media artist whose work blends documentary, fiction and experimental cinema. A graduate of Fabrica – the Benetton Research Center for Communication in Italy – he gained recognition with Just Like the Movies (2006), winner of Best Short Film at the Milano Film Festival. His work includes the award-winning documentary Zero Killed (2012), the horror anthology German Angst (2015) and his latest multimedia project Holofiction (2025), part of the Dark Tourism series exploring contemporary Holocaust remembrance.
