Het lijkt wel een sprookje: een eeneiige tweeling woont al hun hele leven op een afgelegen boerderij in het Boheemse Woud. Miro Remo
Miro Remo grew up in the industrial town of Ladce in northwestern Slovakia, and graduated from secondary school in nearby Považská Bystrica. He abandoned his studies of mechatronics at Trenčín University immediately after being accepted to the Academy of Performing Arts in Bratislava, where he went on to study documentary directing under Vladimír Balco, and today he works in his studio. His greatest success to date is his original short cinematic portrait of his uncle and grandmother, Arsy-Versy (2003), which earned several dozen festival awards around the world. His other films also reveal his endeavor to work with the cinematic image in a new and exciting way.
Tin Castle

Jason Jacobs and Devon Delmar (South Africa) are co-writers and co-directors working under the collective KRAAL, based in Namaqualand. Their films draw on a deep connection to local culture, landscape and the non-human world, exploring consciousness and ecological relationships through a distinctly Namaqua lens. Their feature Carissa (2024) was selected for the Orizzonti section of the 81st Venice International Film Festival and was presented at CineMart 2022. The duo’s co-directed feature Variasies op ‘n Tema (2026) received support from the Hubert Bals Fund in 2024 and premiered at IFFR 2026, where it won the prestigious Tiger Award.

Valeriu Andriuta
Valeriu Andriuta is a Romanian director, actor and screenwriter, born in 1967 in what is now Moldova. As an actor, he has frequently worked with Cristian Mungiu, including on Occident and Beyond the Hills. In 2016, he began a trilogy of short films inspired by his homeland, Moldova. With Chers Amis (2017), Salix Caprea and I Am Dorin, he has won several international awards.
My Father’s Shadow
